The papers include journals, logs, or accounts for the bark CHARLES W. MORGAN, the schooners W. A. GRABER and R. S. GRAHAM, and the brigs DAISY and LEANORA. Also included are some of Captain Cleveland's personal accounts, stocks, etc.

Biography of Benjamin D. Cleveland
Benjamin D. Cleveland was an active whaling master from 1883 to 1921, and a shipowner from New Bedford, Massachusetts. During 1916-1917 Cleveland owned the whaling bark CHARLES W. MORGAN and sailed her as master for one voyage. (See collection #19).
