Biography of Timothea Larr
Timothea Larr has a strong connection to sailing and maritime activities. She graduated from Michigan as a naval architect and practiced for 15 years. She is a trustee of Mystic Seaport Museum. Her list of accomplishment and activities include, a four time winner of the Adams Cup in four attempts, former Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year, first woman North American champion of the Etchells class, recipient of the premier US Sailing Award, the Herreshoff, a college council member of State University of New York Maritime College, and member of United States Yacht Racing Union committees.
