Biography of Henry Wadsworth Fletcher
Henry Wadsworth Flectcher was a shipowner and shipmaster of Boston, Massachusetts. He severed as master of the Emma, Emma Isadora, Jennie, and the Susan, after the master was washed overboard and lost.

Abstract
Correspondence, accounts, bills, receipts, bills of lading, deeds, and account books. Vessels represented include the brig Emma Isadora and barks Emma, Susan Jane, Edward Fletcher, Jennie, and Osmanli. The vessels transported such cargoes as opium, rum, wine, brandy, wool, raisons, figs, olive oil, otto of roses, and general merchandise. The ports frequented most often were Smyrna, Turkey; London, England; Bordeaux and Marseilles, France; Buenos Ayres, Argentina; Puerto Cabello, Venezuela; Providence, R.I. and New York, New York.
