Abstract
The vessel sank in Nantucket Sound, five miles northwest of Handkerchief Lightship, on Jan 4, 1913. She was owned by the White Oak Transportation Company, Boston, MA. Due to the position of the vessel, the Scott Company and the owners abandoned salvage operations. Therefore, the U.S. Engineers Office had to provide for the removal of the wreck.
