Abstract

The barges went ashore on Long Sand Shoal in Long Island Sound on May 24, 1913, after breaking from the tow of the tug FULTON. The barges and the tug were all owned by the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Company, Hoboken, NJ. Includes correspondence, telegrams, transcriptions of telephone conversations, bills, memorandums of charges, and memorandums of services rendered.
