Mr. Dunn was a 1929 graduate of Webb Institute of Technology in naval architecture and marine engineering. He was an expert in submarine design and a former vice president of Electric Boat Co., Groton, Connecticut, where he was employed from 1931 to 1968. Upon retirement he worked as a naval architect for the Preservation Shipyard, Mystic Seaport Museum.
