This collection is composed of plans and text originally published in issues of Rudder Magazine. The Rudder Magazine was published from 1890 through 1983. Many of the vesels appeared in "How To Build" articles and include small craft for power and sail. They were intended to be used in amateur and home boatbuilding. This collection is open for research use only. The plans were donated in 1985 by the current owner of Rudder, Mr. William F. Baker.
