Biographical / Historical
Clifford Day Mallory, Sr., (1881-1941) was a yachtsman and founder of C. D Mallory and Co. shipping line in New York City in 1919. Mr. Mallory was an accomplished yachtsman, as well as a founder and first president of the North American Yacht Racing Union, a commodore of the Indian Harbor Yacht Club, and chairman of yachting for the 1932 Olympics. This selection of blueprints and other copy plans for various yachts and commercial vessels is from the personal collection of Mr. Mallory. It contains vessels he owned and study plans for other racing and cruising craft, large and small, in power and sail. Selections include the Bonnie Dundee III, Tycoon, proposed vessels, a floating grain elevator, the Olympic Monotype Class, and statistical information relating to commercial steamships, including some of those of the Mallory Steamship Co. (the Mallory Line).
