Biographical / Historical
These sail plans appear to be from a disbound gore book. The plans are believed to be in original order, and it is not known if any pages are missing. In some cases more than one vessel is drawn on a page. Drawn in ink and pencil on heavy paper, the dated plans range from 1827 to 1847, with notations to the 1860's. Vessels from New London, Niantic, Hadlyme, East Haddam, and other southeastern Connecticut towns are represented.
