Frederic (Frits) Abilgaard Fenger (1882-1970) was a naval architect and maritime and technical author. He published "Alone In The Caribbean" concerning his voyage in the dugout canoe YAKABOO and "Cruise Of The Diablesse" about his schooner DIABLESSE. He is known for development of the main trysail ketch rig and his study of the dhow-type hull form. The vessels represented date from 1931 to 1962 and are primarily for recreational sailing vessels. These plans are from Mr. Fenger's personal collection and were donated in 1992 by his son Christian Fenger.
