Biographical / Historical
Naval architect John Samuel Barry (?-199?) was employed in the drafting room at Eldredge-McInnis by 1935. He was a designer in the Boston office of the Hickman Sea Sled Company and also designed independently. These plans were part of Mr. Barry?s personal collection and range in date from 1944 through 1962, representing recreational and military vessels. The vessels include the work of Mr. Barry and other designers.
