Bandstand located on the green - South end; Brought to Mystic Seaport February 2, 1960 on lighter (barge) owned by Mr. William Mallory; Donated by Fishers Island Ferry District - and used at Fort Wright for many years; Built in 1938-1939 to replace an earlier bandstand destroyed in the 1938 hurricane.
