Ell sold June 21, 1951; Acquired by Mystic Seaport 1951 from Saybrook (where it was originally built) gift from Connecticut Highway Department. Came on barge through financial support of the Arthur Curtiss James Foundation of New York. 1690 kitchen ell predates the house.
