Abstract This collection contains 5 volumes and a photograph of Capt. John Carter. Three volumes are Carters' journals for voyages in the Bark RAMBLER, while the two remaining volumes are account books containing crew accounts (Bark RAMBLER), and Carter's vessel accounts with the owners of Ship ADALINE and RAMBLER.
