Abstract

Several of Eliza Edwards letters were saved and are now filed chronologically in the first four folders of the collection. At some time in her life she also composed her "Reminiscences of the Sandwich Islands.", which, along with a typed transcript of the same, follows the correspondence folders. The remainder of the collection consists of three additional legal documents; a deed, mortgage payment receipt, and a death notice.

Abstract This Collection includes Adeline Brown's diary, approximately 100 pages bound in a small 3-ring notebook provided for this particular cruise. In addition, she collected programs, brochures, travel schedules, menus, etc, given to the passengers during the trip.
