Eliza T. Edwards Papers
Several of Eliza Edwards letters were saved and are now filed chronologically in the first four folders of the collection. At some time in her life she also composed her "Reminiscences of the Sandwich Islands.", which, along with a typed transcript of the same, follows the correspondence folders. The remainder of the collection consists of three additional legal documents; a deed, mortgage payment receipt, and a death notice.
Fish Family Letters
Chiefly letters written to Simeon G. Fish, son of shipbuilder Nathan G. Fish, owner of Maxon, Fish & Co., containing descriptions of social life and daily activities in Mystic during the mid-19th century. Other persons represented include members of the Miner and Randall families.
Miscellaneous Naval Power Collection
This collection is composed of plans received individually or in groups small enough that the creation of a distinct collection is not required. This collection will continue to grow and expand as additional plans are received.
William Ellery Maxson Diaries
Diaries recording shipyard work, weather, and personal activities. Topics include his activities as partner in the Maxson, Fish & Co. Shipyard and the Civil War.
