Abstract
A 1922 Certificate of Efficiency as Lifeboatman issued to George A. Moore, who in 1914 was a TITANIC crew member and was given command of one of its lifeboats. The document gives his physical description and certifies that he has been examined in launching and handling lifeboats and the use of oars. Issued by the British Board of Trade, the document is stamped "31 Aug. 1922/M.M. Office Southampton." It is perforated on the left and has a seal at the upper left that says Com. of Council for Trade.
