Abstract
A 1922 Certificate of Efficiency as Lifeboatman issued to George A. Moore, who in 1914 was a TITANIC crew member and was given command of one of its lifeboats. The document gives his physical description and certifies that he has been examined in launching and handling lifeboats and the use of oars. Abstract
A baggage permit card issued in 1946 to William Nutbean, a TITANIC survivor. It says, "The bearer Mr. Nutbean has permission to enter Southampton Docks subject to his conforming to the general rules and regulations covering such entry for the purpose of collecting and transporting baggage to and from vessels in port." Attached is a receipt from the Southern Railway "Dock Station." It is dated 12-7-1946 and the card says it is valid until June 30, 1947.
