History of Roann (Dragger)
The 60-foot long, eastern-rig Dragger ROANN was designed in 1944 by Albert H. Condon and built in 1948 by Newbert and Wallace. Her first owner, Roy W. Cambell, fished out of Vineyard Haven, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Her next two owners, Chester H. Westcott and Tom Williams fished out of Point Judith, Rhode Island.
