Biography of Charles D. Schock
Charles David Schock, (1923-) M. E., is the grandson of Edson Burr Schock and the son of Edson Irwin Schock. As a designer, Mr. Schock was employed by John G. Alden, Inc. and Sparkman & Stephens, Inc., and had worked with his grandfather, Edson B. in California. He also did some work with his father, Edson I. Charles Schock also worked on the design of power vessels for William H. Tripp, Sr. and Robert B. Harris.

Abstract
This collection includes plans for both motor and sailing yachts as well as plans drawn and collected by Edson B. Schock and Edson I. Schock. Designers represented include John G. Alden, Eldredge-McInnis, Inc., Frederic S. Nock, A. Cary Smith and Sparkman & Stephens, Inc. For information on other plans by the Schocks, refer to Ships Plans collections Edson B.
