Abstract This postcard is one of the rare pieces of mail sent from the TITANIC during its maiden voyage. The ship left Southampton, England on April 10, 1912, making a stop later that day at Cherbourg, France and then, the next day, at Queenstown (now Cobh), Ireland. First class passenger Thomas Parnham Franklin wrote this card to his sister, Grace Franklin, on April 10 and it was postmarked April 11 at Queenstown.
