Cunard White Star Ticket Sleeve, 14 August 1958

 Item
Identifier: 2020.39.7747
Abstract A Cunard White Star ticket sleeve. It has been filled out with minimal details: "For Cabin Class Passage Per S.S. QUEEN MARY Sailing from Southampton on August 14 1958." In the upper right hand corner is written "B130 1+A." The Cunard White Star branding on this is interesting, since the White Star name was officially dropped by 1950. In small print on the back is a printing date of 1/48, so this sleeve must have been leftover. Below the ticket information on the front and continuing onto...

Abstract A "Race Card" program from a "horse racing" event on the QUEEN MARY. The rules are also humorous: "A Horse will be disqualified and its Owner warned-off if it: (a) Kicks or jostles another Horse during the Race; (b) Hangs on to the tail of the lading Horse; (c) Acts in any...
